NBA Players Say They Won`t Visit Trump White House After Championships. Do You Support Them ?

It is tradition that when sports teams win championships, they visit the White House as part of the celebration. All of the major professional sports teams do it as well as college and women’s sports, but that may be over, at least for the NBA. Believing the media hype and Hillary Clinton’s bullshit that Donald Trump is a racist, prominent professional basketball players have indicated they won’t visit the White House while he’s in office.

LeBron James wouldn’t commit to visiting the White House again under a Donald Trump administration.

James and the Cavs celebrated their championship at the White House with President Barack Obama , but if they win another title in the next four years, James may not attend the presidential ceremony.

“I don’t know. That’s something I would cross. We’ll have to cross that road, I guess. We’ll see. I would love to have to cross that road,” said James.

It’s no secret that James is a major Hillary-backer and Trump-hater.

So he had a problem with the fictitious liberal media invented Trump misogyny, but was totally cool with the real documented rapes and sexual assaults committed by Hillary’s husband Bill? Interesting. In any case, while James only alluded to the idea that he wouldn’t visit the Trump White House, his teammate Richard Jefferson left no doubt. Jefferson posted a photo on SnapChat saying, “Words cannot express the honor I feel being the last team to visit the White House tomorrow.”

If that “last team” thing didn’t make it clear that Jefferson was saying no NBA teams will visit the Trump White House, these words sure do:

“I just look across this league, there’s been other players with ‘scheduling conflicts’ as they like to call it, not necessarily a political stance. But I could see other ‘scheduling conflicts’ coming up…If you have different views, you’re allowed to have different views. That’s what’s amazing about this country. We’re not going to imprison people with different views. But if you want to stand up and you want to say, ‘Hey look, my views don’t coincide with this current administration,’ then you have opportunities, especially being leaders in your respective communities,” said Jefferson.

The championship team visits to the White House have absolutely nothing to do with politics or race. They are a celebration by the entire United States for the hard work and dedication athletes put into winning the ultimate prize of their respective sports.

For NBA players to politicize this and make it about race is just more liberal pouting and foot-stomping because the presidential election didn’t go their way. It is also another form of self-segregation that the modern black activist movement is so fond of.

Also at least three NBA teams have decided to boycot some of the most visible Trump-branded properties in the country. The Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks, and Memphis Grizzlies have stopped staying at Trump-affiliated hotels during road trips to Chicago and New York for political reasons:

At least three NBA teams have stopped staying at Donald Trump-branded hotels this season in part to avoid any implied association with the new president-elect, according to league sources.

The Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks have moved away from Trump hotels in New York City and Chicago, which bear Donald Trump’s name through a licensing agreement.

Sources say that another Eastern Conference team contracted to stay at the Trump SoHo in New York this season has likewise already decided to switch to a different property in Manhattan when its current contract expires at season’s end and that the Trump association is among the factors for the switch.

Seven other teams are still currently scheduled to stay at Trump-branded properties this season.

Several teams that have stayed at the Trump SoHo in particular in the past are not staying there this season but did not specifically attribute the switch to any political reason. Several more said that they’ve never stayed at Trump-branded hotels.

The report adds that the Bucks stayed at the Trump International Tower and Hotel in Chicago for an exhibition game in early October after trying to make a cancelation, so that decision apparently came fairly late in the campaign. Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry has been a major Clinton ally and Democratic Party donor for years, and Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was one of Trump’s loudest critics in the last few months before the election
