Obama’s White House Farewell Party…A-Lists :”An Incredible Night Celebrating 8 Incredible Years”(Celebrity Boycott List)

Many stars found the evening emotional as they faced the impending loss of Obama in the oval office.

“Stumbling out of the White House at 4am after an incredible night celebrating 8 incredible years,” wrote actress Olivia Wilde in a Twitter post in which she was posing next to her partner, actor Jason Sudeikis.

Dozens of celebrities turned out to party until 4am at the White House in a farewell bash.

The Obama’s party included George and Amal Clooney, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks,Steven Spielberg, David Letterman, George Lucas, Paul McCartney and many more.

Cameras and phones were confiscated, forcing stars to snap and post photos and videos to their social media accounts from outside the White House.

“The one party we’ll wait in line to get into,” wrote Dj Cassidy in an Instagram post featuring Singer John Legend and his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, and Jerry Seinfeld and his wife.

Musicians Usher, Kelly Rowland, and Wale, who often worked with Michelle Obama on her high education initiative, posed for a photo alongside Saturday Night Live alum Jay Pharoah and TV personality La La Anthony.

Other names, including Oprah, Beyoncé and Jay Z, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Oprah Winfrey, Bradley Cooper,  Eddie Vedder, J.J. Abrams, Gloria Estefan, Tyler Perry, Robert De Niro, Jon Hamm, Ken Burns, Al Roker, Chris Rock,Nick Jonas,Jordin Sparks and Lena Dunham were also in attendance.

Pharrell and Solange were said to have performed at the event and President Obama was rumored to have dominated the dance floor.

Solange, the sister of Beyonce, said that it was ‘truly the ultimate, ultimate honor.’

She continued: ‘We will miss your excellence, your grace, and the phenomenal legacy you have let us all share.’

‘They have served our country with grace, wisdom, dignity, love — and a glam, groovy style we will not see again for a long, long time.

‘Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you, First Lady Obama.’

Sports mogul Magic Johnson, fashion icon Anna Wintour, Hollywood super producer Harvey Weinstein, and Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels also made an appearance at Friday night’s bash.
