Rep. Al Green (D-TX) introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump this week in a desperate bid to unseat him.
In Green’s argument he claimed Trump has “undermined the integrity of his office, and has sewn discord among the people of the United States.”
The vote was hugely defeated with 364 voting to kill the motion while 58 voted for moving the impeachment forward.
While this must be humiliating enough for Al Green and the Democrats, something else should be noted that doesn’t look good for congressional Democrats.
Just last year, more Democrats voted to unseat Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) from her House Minority Leader position than voted to impeach President Trump.
63 of Pelosi’s colleagues voted to replace her while only 58 voted to impeach Trump. This is a huge deal and just goes to show that Democrats yelling about impeaching him are just blowing hot air at their constituents.
We need to vote ALL of these people out so Congress can get back to doing its job and stop wasting time.
