Liberal Congresswoman Maxine Waters trashed Trump supporters on the House floor Monday evening. During her prolonged critique of the proposed budget released by the Trump administration, Waters ranted over the rich, racial tensions, and those who voted for Trump in the 2016 election.

“We knew about his background and his history and what he is known for, and that is discrimination, disrespect for African Americans,” Waters told the House. “My position against this president and his administration is clear: I oppose this president; I do not honor this president; I do not respect this president.”

Waters then blasted Trump supporters and those that agree with the President’s agenda.

“We stand up for America, oftentimes when others who think they are more patriotic, who say they are more patriotic do not,” Waters said. “We’re saying to those who say they are patriotic but they turned a blind eye to the destruction that he is about to cause this country: you are not nearly as patriotic as we are,” she added.

Rep. Waters has made her disdain for the President clear, and has often called for his impeachment.
