Trump Uses Saturday to Visit Walter Reed and Present Injured Soldier with Purple Heart Medal

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump spent their time on Saturday visiting Walter Reed Hospital. During the visit President Trump awarded Sergeant First Class Alvaro Barrientos a Purple Heart.

Sergeant First Class Alvaro Barrientos was injured in Afghanistan recently.

At first, Trump was planning on sending some of his people to award the wounded soldier in his place, but when he heard the full story of the brave soldier, he said “I wanted to do this myself.”

If you ask us, this is an example of how a President should behave and act like. With a leader like this, it is not a wonder that we have so many inspired and motivated heroes out there laying down their lives for our country. It just once again proves how much Trump loves his people and how much they love him back.

The time when our nation did not appreciate the heroes who gave their lives for our nation has come to an end, as we finally have leaders that acknowledged the needs and priorities of the military, and are supplying them with every bit of equipment they need.

If you ask us, the least we could do for our brave soldiers is share this article and spread the word so we can all show them our support and how much they mean to us!
